Terms

Last updated 18-10-2026

1Who we are

YearWise is made by Aeonloom, Copenhagen, Denmark ("we", "us"). When you use YearWise or buy a Pro licence, your agreement about the program is with Aeonloom. You can reach us through the contact form. Our company details are in the legal notice.

2What these terms cover

These terms apply to the YearWise program for Windows, in its Free and Pro versions, and to buying a Pro licence on this website. By installing or using YearWise you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not install or use it.

3Buying Pro

  • Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: Paddle sells you the licence, takes the payment, charges any VAT and sends the receipt. Paddle's buyer terms apply to the payment.
  • Pro is a one-off purchase, not a subscription. The price on this website includes VAT.
  • A Pro licence unlocks the Pro features of every YearWise 1.x version. It does not include a later major version (YearWise 2 and after).
  • We send the licence to the e-mail address you give at checkout. The licence carries that address, and YearWise shows it as the name the licence belongs to.
  • Questions about a payment, an invoice or a refund go to Paddle; questions about YearWise itself go to us. Refunds are described in our refund policy.

4Your licence to use YearWise

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use YearWise on computers you use, for yourself. A Pro licence is for the person who bought it, or for that person's own work in a business. Do not share, publish or sell your licence. Do not resell, rent out or redistribute YearWise, present it as your own, or try to get around its licence check or its Free limits. You may reverse-engineer it only as far as the law allows despite this clause.

We keep all rights in YearWise itself. You keep all rights in your timelines, your text, your pictures and anything else you put in them: using YearWise gives us no rights over them.

5The Free version

YearWise Free costs nothing and has no time limit. What it includes is shown in the Free and Pro table. We may change what Free includes in later versions.

6Your timelines are yours, and on your computer

YearWise keeps your timelines as files in a folder on your computer, and it works offline. We have no access to them, and YearWise sends nothing to us. Keeping copies of your own files is your responsibility: YearWise is not a backup service. You must have the right to use the pictures, sound, video and documents you add.

7Updates

We may publish new versions on this website. Installing one is your choice. We do not promise that any feature will be kept, changed or added in a later version, except that a Pro licence keeps unlocking Pro in every 1.x version.

8Liability

Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and any mandatory liability under consumer law.

Subject to that, YearWise is provided as it is. We do not promise that it is free of errors or that it will always run on every computer, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data where you have not kept your own copies.

9Ending these terms

You may stop using YearWise at any time by uninstalling it; your timelines stay where they are. If you break these terms, for example by sharing or selling your licence, we may end your licence.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and a change does not reduce what an earlier purchase included.

11Law

These terms are governed by the law of Denmark. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection given to you by the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring proceedings there.
